About Christophe Lenaerts

Christophe Lenaerts is recognized as a leading person in the streaming industry. Consulting and speaking all over the world on streaming projects and subjects, Christophe is also investing in startups in the IT, internet and mobile space.

Christophe is also the founder and current CEO of Telemak, a streaming media company based in Brussels, Belgium.

Christophe is currently ambassador for Make-A-Wish® Belgium-Vlaanderen, celebrating 20 years of wish-granting to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Christophe Lenaerts is on the board of the KdG school in Antwerp to steer the new Multimedia and Communication Technologies (MCT) direction they launched in 2006.

Christophe Lenaerts is also Managing Director of La Trebia and a board member of Mobiya, Société Royale Forestière de Belgique SRFB), Landelijk Vlaanderen, Domein de Renesse, GECORO Malle, and many more.

Recently Christophe has spoken at Streaming Media Europe 2006 and 2009, Narrowcast Europe, Emakina Academy

Christophe also holds board positions with various technology corporations and works with many non-profit organizations.

What I Do
I'm specialized in streaming applications and projects. Streaming is the technology used to bring audio and video on the Internet. I still help other people with their streaming jobs, certainly when they are quite big. I also do some hosting for media sites that need powerful streaming servers. And of course a lot of consultancy and project management.

I'm also the father of the Netman™. The Netman is a mobile wireless streaming solution that I created for Canal Plus in 2000 during the Cannes Film Festival. Today the Netman is becoming very popular with companies willing to do the little extra at their corporate events.

Another one of my products is the Telecast™. It is a flight case with all equipment needed to do a live webcast on a remote location.
